About Me
Himani Nigam is a Science and STEM teacher at Mendham Country Day School in Basking Ridge, NJ. Born in India, she completed her high school education and earned a Master's degree in Educational Psychology there. For the past 20 years, she has been residing in the United States. Upon moving to the US, she settled in Georgia and attended Piedmont College in Athens, GA, where she obtained a certificate in teaching Middle Grades. She passed the GACE (Georgia Assessments for Certification of Educators) in 2008, which led to her receiving a Georgia Educators License.
After relocating to New Jersey, Nigam reapplied for her NJ teaching license in 2018. Between 2008 and 2018, she focused on starting a family and worked as a Lead Pre-K teacher in preschools while raising her daughter. She received her CEAS in 2018 and achieved her standard certificate in 2024. Since August 2018, she has been serving as a Science and STEM teacher at Mendham Country Day School.
