About Me
Hi! My name is Himani Nigam, and I work as a Science and STEM teacher at Mendhham Country Day School in Basking Ridge, NJ. I was born in India and did my schooling (High School) and college (Master's in Educational Psychology) there. I have been living in the United States for the past 18 years. Once I came to the US, I was living in Georgia and went to Piedmont College, Athens, GA to get a certiicat in teaching Middle Grades. I passed my GACE (Georgia Assessments for Certification fo Educators) in 2008 and got my GA Educators License. After having moved to Maryland and then to New Jersey, I reapplied for my NJ teaching license in 2018. In between 2008-2018, I started a family and worked in preschools as a Lead Pre-K teacher when my daughter was growing up. I received my CEAS in 2018 and since then I have been working as a Science and STEM teacher at my school.
